Samsung security monitors
Closed-circuit Television (CCTV) systems employ several video cameras that transmit their images to a limited number of monitors. CCTV systems do not use a publicly broadcasted signal; signals may only transmitted within the circuit, hence the name. Several manufacturers, such as Samsung, market CCTV systems. Samsung security monitors come in selection of different models.
The Samsung SAM-21M is a 21-inch colour CCTV monitor utilising conventional cathode ray tube (CRT) technology. It features metal cabinet construction, is compatible with both PAL and NTSC systems and has a 450-line image resolution. It features a three looping video input – there are both composite and S-video inputs and looping outputs. An on-screen display (OSD) gives a visual representation of its settings and it has its own built-in speaker. Several screen properties may be adjusted, like tint, brightness, contrast, colour and sharpness.
Samsung’s STM-17L is a liquid crystal display (LCD) security monitor. Compared to the SAM-21M and other CRT monitors, it is smaller, lighter and consumes less power. It has a 17-inch (true) diagonal size. Because of its slim design and light weight, it takes up little space and may even be wall-mounted using an optional wall mount. It accepts AC inputs ranging from 100 to 240 V. The LCD displays offers extremely crisp and sharp images with superior contrast and brightness properties.
CCTV systems are highly customisable. They may be set to start recording upon motion detection or may be used on industrial or chemical sites where surveillance is required, but where conditions are unsafe for humans. Samsung security monitors are available for all these systems and offer excellent quality, reliability and service backup.
