ACSS Supplies Advanced Sagem Biometrics Fingerprint Recognition Systems
Access control and time-and-attendance systems have become very popular at most businesses and contemporary systems often rely on proximity tags or cards or on personal identification numbers entered into a keypad. However, these methods are still no proof of positive identification, as it is always possible for someone else to use an authorised user’s card or number to gain access. Therefore, better ways to positively identify a user have started to gain ground, and these include Sagem Biometrics systems like fingerprint and facial recognition systems.
Sagem Biometrics fingerprint recognition systems are available in various models for different uses. The MorphoAccess™ 100 model is an ideal, entry-level model that is both cost-effective and versatile. It is suitable for indoor or outdoor use, is compact and easy to install and can be used in conjunction with legacy or new access control systems. Two biometric templates for each of up to 500 individuals can be stored.
The MorphoAccess 500 Series is significantly more powerful. It can store two biometric templates per user for anything from 3,000 up to 50,000 users, divided into five databases of 10,000 users each. The advanced MA521 model even features patented technology for fake finger detection, which may interest companies looking for the most secure access in places where the fingerprint reader is left unattended. We even offer the excellent MorphoSmart family of fingerprint readers, which is USB-based and designed to work with a normal personal computer.
ACSS can offer you a vast range of Sagem Biometrics fingerprint readers for access control and time-and-attendance systems. Above are only a few examples. If you want to learn more about these and other systems that are available, contact us today.
