The Sinon system is extremely flexible and records vehicles’ colours, number plates, the drivers’ faces as well as automatically matching entry events with exit events.  Security operators are provided with full views of all entry and exit data and anomalies (like and exit event without a matching entry event) are flagged; however, deletion policies can be configured for both incomplete and complete flagged events.  It is possible to manually override the system for security checks and it can be set to delete completed transactions after a predefined period has elapsed.

The Sinon system supports a separate server database or it can incorporate databases for smaller systems.  It records up to twelve video channels in several configurations and multiple units are easily linked to accommodate more traffic lanes or allow for heavy traffic flow.  Comprehensive event management is allowed for: the internal logic will automatically link exit events to their related entry events, either by ticket ID, number plate or card holder ID.  Operator override is enabled for discrepancies, enabling the operator to let someone in or initiate additional security measures.
