ACSS Supplies Advanced Security Computer Products

ACSS can supply you with advanced computer products like Suprema’s fingerprint readers.  These are computer products especially designed to allow positive fingerprint identification before allowing a user to access a computer workstation, network or computer program.  These PC-based security systems use an award-winning algorithm for precise and secure scanning.

The BioMini is a Plug & Play USB 2.0 high-speed interface device that supports multiple devices.  It offers a fast matching speed of 1:100,000 in only one second for genuine matching when used with Intel’s Core2Duo 2.13GHz processor.  Its multi-threaded code is designed to fully utilise the processing power of multi-core computer processors such as the Core2Duo.  It features a 500 DPI optical fingerprint sensor with a scratch-resistant surface and a 16x18mm sensing area.  It supports Windows 98, Me and 2000, as well as Linux, while also supporting the Delphi, Visual C++, .NET and Visual Basic programming languages.  BioMini is typically used in time and attendance (TA) systems, e-commerce, smart card applications and for PC and network security.

The BioMini SDK software is used in applications where fingerprint recognition and enrolment are done via PC or network-based systems through the BioMini or SFU-300 fingerprint readers.  BioMini SDK features 256-bit AES encryption and uses Microsoft Access as its database.  Verification and enrolment times are both under 0.1 seconds and it is capable of 100,000 matches per second.
