Biometrics Access Control
ACSS Can Install Sagem® Biometrics Access Control Systems
ACSS has been supplying and installing advanced access control systems since 1997. Among the more sophisticated systems are the Sagem® Biometrics access control systems. Sagem® Biometric access control uses fingerprint recognition to recognise the user and grant him or her access and it also serves as a time and attendance system.
Sagem manufactures many models and their MorphoAccess line is particularly popular. Several models are available, like the MorphoAccess 500, an advanced product that can accommodate between 3,000 and 50,000 users, making it ideal even for large premises where thousands of people work. It can even store two biometric templates for each of the people in its database. Some models incorporate technology with fake finger detection – this is a useful feature where the fingerprint reader is left unattended.
Simpler and more cost-effective MorphoAccess models are also offered, notably the 100 series, which makes for a useful entry-level, able to accommodate a maximum of 500 users. However, provision is still made for two biometric templates for each user. The MA100 can be used outdoors and it is compact and easy to install. You may even use it with new or legacy access control systems.
Besides these variants, there are many more Sagem® Biometrics access control and fingerprint readers available for every type of application. Sagem® even offers small USB-based fingerprint readers – the MorphoSmart family – that simply plug into the USB port of a personal computer. In addition to Sagem® Biometrics systems, ACSS can also offer you all the other security, access control and alarm systems that go hand in hand with an integrated security approach.
