Fingerprint Access Control
ACSS Offers Advanced Fingerprint Access Control Systems
Fingerprint access control imparted a whole new dimension to access control. Traditional systems rely on a key card or tag being held close to a receiver, or a code being punched into a keypad. Both systems are flawed for high-security applications, because unauthorised personnel may still enter the restricted area if they are in possession of an authorised person’s key card or PIN. Fingerprint access control is a far more secure way to positively identify a person. ACSS has been installing security and access control systems since 1997 and we can install a fingerprint recognition system at your business premises too.
Sagem® Biometrics manufactures a whole range of fingerprint recognition systems for various purposes. Its MorphoAccess range is particularly popular for its power and versatility. Two biometric templates can be stored per person and the relatively simple MA100 model can store the fingerprints of up to 500 people; it is meant to operate in identification mode only. For both identification and authentication mode in the same system, the MA120 is ideal; in addition, it can read different types of smart cards too.
The powerful MorphoAccess 500 range can handle between 3,000 and 50,000 users, depending on the model chosen. Certain models in the MA500 range even come with special technology to recognise a fake finger for added security. In addition to these systems, we can also offer you PC terminal-based USB fingerprint readers that are mobile and easy to install and use. This range is called MorphoSmart and they simply plug into a computer’s USB port.
ACSS can offer you top quality Sagem® fingerprint access control systems to serve as effective access control and time-and-attendance systems at your business. For more information, contact us.
