ImproX Rod Antenna Reader
INTRODUCTION
The ImproX (RA) Rod Antenna Reader is a
compact, tubular Reader. The RA is designed for exclusive
use with an ImproX TT Twin Antenna Terminal in the ImproX
IXP200, 300 and 400 Access Control Systems.
The Antenna Reader is intended for installation
in a wall so that the unit is completely concealed. The electronic
components are potted enhancing its resistance to tampering.
The Antenna Reader is designed for use in harsh environments,
such as industrial areas.
APPLICATIONS
The following are possible uses of the Antenna
Reader: Access Control Antenna Reader.
FEATURES
The ImproX RA provides the following features:
- Read/Write capability for various tag types: Slim Tags
(Read only), Omega Tags (Read only), WriTag 128 and WriTag
2048 (Read/Write).
- A single bi-coloured red/green Status LED.
- A single tone buzzer.
TAG READ RANGES
The range at which the Antenna Reader can
read from or write to a tag is dependent on the type of tag
and on the material in which a particular Reader is mounted.
Typical ranges are shown in Table 1.
ACCESSORIES
The Reader is supplied with the following
accessories: 8 m of 4-core cable.
