ImproX QT Quad Transmitter
INTRODUCTION
The ImproX QT Quad Transmitter is a 4-channel
handheld UHF as well as a passive keyring shape transponder
tag that is designed to operate in conjunction with the ImproX
RF UHF Receiver and with the ImproX range of access control
readers. Each of the four pushbuttons is used to transmit
a different channel identification code, together with the
Transmitter's ID, to the Receiver.
The Receiver can be connected to an access control system
such as the IXP200 or IXP 300/400 systems, and the four channels
can be used to activate different devices (e.g. open a boom)
in the system. The ImproX Quad Transmitter carries 4 push-buttons.
Pressing any one of these modulates the UHF carrier with
data, which includes the Transmitter identification number
and the channel number.
The data transmitted by the Quad Transmitter is decoded by
the ImproX 4-Channel UHF Receiver, which identifies the channel
concerned and then outputs the UHF tag ID data to the appropriate
ImproX DT or ImproX PT (or similar) unit. The Transmitter
is powered by an internal battery.
