SID-450, New High Resolution Day & Night 3-Axis Dome
Camera
The SID-450, Samsung's new 3-axis color
dome camera provide not only quality performance but also
outstanding ease of installation. This camera is especially
incredibly flexible to install with its 3-axis camera construction,
which makes the camera wall or slope mountable. It features
compact size, built-in 3X (f 3.0~9mm) vari-focal lens, 530TV
lines, a minimum illumination of 0.002Lux and unique SSNR
noise reduction technology. This versatile camera is an excellent
choice for indoor applications such as retail, schools, airports,
banks and hotels.
All-Time Cleaner, Sharper Image!
The SID-450 ideally combines advanced Samsung
optics, a high performance Super HAD CCD image sensor and
WinnerIII, a newly developed professional DSP chip in order
to deliver ultra clear image of horizontal resolution of
530TV lines. High signal-to-noise ratio of 50dB also provides
strong video signal for enhanced picture quality.
High sensitivity of 0.002Lux, Day & Night mode
The SID-450 ensures high resolution color
images down to an 0.3Lux @ F1.2 in daytime and when light
levels fall even to a certain level the camera automatically
switches to monochrome mode. Especially the unit boasts outstanding
sensitivity of as low as 0.002Lux for excellent low light
operations in color using Sens-up function(Max. 128X). The
SID-450 is an excellent choice for those applications, where
there is a severe illumination change
SSNR, substantial noise reduction
When lighting levels are low, SSNR dramatically
reduces both random and fixed noise and at the same time
produces a high signal to noise ratio and no ghost effect.
An additional benefit of this technology is the reduced file
size of recorded images. A DVR's recorded file size is reduced
by a massive 70% when using a MPEG format and by 40% when
using a JPEG format.
Wall mountable with 3-Axis camera mechanism
The SID-450 lens can be rotated or shifted
horizontally or vertically so you can position the camera
to get the pictures you need. As a result, the unit can be
easily mounted to walls or sloping surfaces. The viewing
angle of the camera is easy to adjust even after installation.
Built-in auto Iris 3X varifocal lens
The unit is equipped with 3X vari-focal
auto iris lens. Images can be enlarged or reduced by control
of the vari-focal lens. Optical zooming is convenient for
setting the image size after setting the instruction of the
camera.
Additional service monitoring output
Installation is made simpler by a service
video connector that provides the installer with easy access
to the assistant video from the camera.
Other intelligent Features
Privacy Zone Masking
When the SID-450 is observing a wide area,
the captured images can be “masked” for privacy
purposes. Users can easily configure the size and position
of the required privacy zones.
Wide Range Automatic White Balance
SID-450 is automatic white balance technology
allows true color images without tending to be red or blue,
which covers extensive color temperature range of 1,800°K
~ 10,500°K.
Intelligent Motion Detection
This versatile camera is also equipped with
the internal ability to detect motion in the scene they are
viewing, Users can easily configure the size and position
of up to 4 required zones.
Camera ID Setting
Users can use the camera identification
(CAMERA ID) to assign a name to the camera. The camera ID
consists of up to 15 alphanumeric characters.
WIII DSP System
At the heart of the SID-450 is WINNERIII,
a proprietary powerful new DSP engine that allows ultra high
resolution surveillance images and various intelligent functions
at the same time. The New WIII DSP succeeds in integrating
SSNR, Samsung's renowned noise reduction technology with
16-bit high speed CPU, which realizes genuine cost effectiveness
of the camera.
